REMC Courses
REMC Courses provide an opportunity to enhance personal or professional learning by exploring technology tools and instructional practices. Each free, 3-week course is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing you to move through approximately 10 hours of content that is mostly asynchronous. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, you will engage in at least one live, synchronous interaction with your instructor. All courses are facilitated by Michigan educators and focus on immediate classroom application. Because interaction with others is expected, our courses are not considered self-paced. Optional SCECHs are available for each course. Participants may also pursue a REMC Microcredential for deeper learning through one of 7 pathways.

Storytelling is a dynamic way to engage students in learning and make your content come alive. The use of storytelling can address multiple learning styles and content areas making it a perfect fit for face-to-face or online teaching environments. Participatns will explore strategies and best practices with storytelling, see how stories can set the stage for learning and enhance your content. Plan and practice your own story for a content area of your choice while learning to use free, online resources such as Book Creator, Microsoft Sway and others.
