    HIV/Sex Ed. Certification Training

    Participants will learn to implement the MI Model "HIV/AIDS, & other STIs" curricula and district sex education advisory committees.

    Content includes: consequences of STIs, how STIs are and are not transmitted, abstinence promotion, avoidance of risky situations, and professional health services. Various sex ed. curricula will be previewed.

    This training includes a required online training module that must be completed prior to the live training date (online module information received upon registration).

SCECHs will be offered at this event.

Non-Local Teacher Participation - If an individual who is not employed by a local school district within our two-county service area wishes to attend a professional learning session, a standard training fee of $25 will apply (unless otherwise noted). This fee helps cover expenses such as lunch, SCECH processing, and program materials. In some cases, such as when additional materials are required, the fee may be higher to reflect actual costs. If a prospective participant falls into this category and has questions, they should contact the professional learning organizer directly for more information.
