    6-12 High Quality Instruction: Disciplinary Literacy

    A collaborative opportunity for secondary educators and instructional leaders in ALL AREAS to learn about and apply the Essential Instructional Practices for Disciplinary Literacy in the Secondary Classroom:  Grades 6-12 in an effort to improve classroom instruction.

     

    5.25 SCECH hours are available for those who register in advance.
    Target Audience
    Cross-content teams, like-content teams, and individuals welcome!
    Learner Outcomes

    Increase understanding of the 6-12 Disciplinary Literacy Essentials (DLEs)

    Increase understanding of Disciplinary Literacy in general and its implications at classroom level

    Establish district-level context for DLE implementation

    Make actual changes to instruction based on learning
