Holistic Foundational Skills for Dual Language

Will focus on the newly designed foundational skills scope and sequence for K-2nd
grade including the research base, the scope and sequence for the school year, and
the instructional guidance afforded through corresponding PowerPoint slide deck
examples. Teachers will study their respective holistic scope and sequences to
better understand how bilingual foundational skills develop over time and what
daily lesson sequences are necessary for bilingual orthographic mapping to occur.
