Ditch the fluorescent lights and join us for a different kind of PD.
This summer, we’re stepping out of the classroom and into the heart of our community. Grab your favorite morning brew and get a "behind-the-lens" look at the local agencies that support our students and families every day. Designed for educators and staff who support youth with disabilities ages 14-21. Learn how we can work together to provide a coordinated set of services and activities to help prepare youth as they complete high school and transition to adult life.
Participating agencies include: Schuylkill IU 29, OVR, SAM, Inc., Schuylkill Conservation District, ARCIL, and TEM Care Behavioral Health.
Participants will meet Doreen Milot, Schuylkill IU 29 Transition TaC, at various locations in the county. Act 48 hours will be provided to those who attend each session and complete required forms. Dates are Tuesday, June 9, Tuesday, June 16, Tuesday June 23, and Monday, June 29. Each session will be from 9AM-11AM.
