    2025–2026 Principals Induction Program

    The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit is pleased to offer the 2025–2026 Principals Induction Program, a comprehensive yearlong experience designed to support newly appointed principals in their leadership journey. This program fulfills the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Induction requirements and includes components aligned to Act 13 training for school leaders.

    Participants will begin the year with an in-person kickoff session on July 8, followed by monthly virtual meetings held on the third Monday of each month from 8:00–10:00 AM. The program concludes with an in-person wrap-up session on June 17.

    This induction experience offers a supportive network, relevant leadership development, and actionable strategies for success in school leadership.

    Cost:$500 per participant

    Credits:50 Act 45 Hours

    Lunch: Provided

    In-Person Sessions  (CSIU Main Building, 90 Lawton Lane, Milton, PA):

    • Kickoff Session: July 8, 2025, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Lunch Provided)
    • Wrap-Up Session: June 17, 2026, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Lunch Provided)

    Monthly Virtual Sessions (8:00–10:00 AM)

    •  2nd monday of each month

    A virtual meeting link will be provided prior to each session.

    Target Audience
    • Newly appointed principals
    • Administrators seeking to meet PDE induction and Act 13 leadership requirements
    • Administrators supporting newly appointed principals
    Learner Outcomes

    Participants will:

    1. Satisfy PDE’s induction requirements and complete Act 13 leadership training.
    2. Build foundational skills to support instructional leadership, school operations, innovation, school safety/security, and staff development.
    3. Engage with a professional network of peers and mentors for ongoing support.
    4. Reflect on leadership practices through collaborative discussions and guided activities.
    5. Develop the confidence and capacity needed to lead schools effectively and sustainably.
