Brandon Williams, a CLASS Certified Instructor, will be the presenter for our opening meeting. Brandon Williams will cover the area of Instructional Support to include: Concept Development, Quality of Feedback, and Language Modeling. He will present different ways to converse with students to elicit higher order thinking skills, give tips and suggestions for transitions, and using advanced vocabulary words. To sum it up, he is going to demonstrate how to teach beginning reading skills and comprehension through utilizing conversations with students. Classrooms should be a language rich environment to promote early literacy. Linda Byrd will present on the administration of medication, allergies, blood borne pathogens, etc
