    Jefferson Hacking School Discipline
    This book study will explore individual chapters within the book Hacking School Discipline. Staff members were each given the book and will be informed of the chapter(s) for study for each upcoming session. As part of each staff meeting, the certified staff will explore the chapter thoroughly focusing on practical strategies that staff can use for dealing with discipline throughout the school.

    Learner Outcomes

    Participants will learn 9 different ways to create a culture of empathy responsibility while focusing on using Restorative Justice. 

    Teachers will create a classroom culture with routines and procedures that support conflict resolution. 

    Teachers will guide students to take responsibility actions, emotions and behaviors. 

    Teachers will listen, understand and communicate well with students while empowering them to recognize and manage their own emotions.
