    TBRI Training - 5 Day Intensive Training

    Welcome to the TBRI® 2nd Edition Training!
    This 30-hour, 5-day intensive experience is designed for caregivers, educators, clinicians, and helping professionals who want a deeper, research-informed understanding of how early relational trauma impacts children’s development and behavior.

    This training goes beyond introductory material to explore:

    The Impact of Trauma on Development
    Understand how early adversity affects brain development, attachment formation, nervous system regulation, and behavior.

    Attachment and Relational Health
    Learn how trauma disrupts attachment and what it takes to build safety, trust, and connection in relationships with vulnerable children.

    TBRI® Core Principles & Strategies
    We will dive deeply into the heart of TBRI® — a strengths-based, trauma-sensitive approach grounded in:

    • Empowering Principles — meeting needs for safety, structure, and nourishment

    • Connecting Principles — fostering trust, engagement, and emotional regulation

    • Correcting Principles — teaching new skills through proactive and responsive strategies

    Practical Tools for Real-World Caregiving
    Through case examples, group discussion, experiential learning, and implementation guidance, participants will leave with tools they can apply immediately with children and youth impacted by trauma.


    What to Expect in This 30-Hour Format

    This extended format allows time for:

    • In-depth discussion of key concepts

    • Reflection and application to personal and professional contexts

    • Collaborative learning with peers and facilitators

    • Skill building that supports lasting change

     Apply TBRI® principles with confidence in real life situations
     Build stronger, more trusting relationships with children and youth

    Any school personnel that works with kids.
