    This professional learning session takes a closer look at the building blocks of reading—phonological awareness, phonics, and fluency—and their ongoing importance for students in grades 4–9. We’ll unpack how these skills continue to influence reading development and examine common challenges older students face. You'll gain practical ideas for supporting foundational skills within core instruction, tailoring strategies for diverse learners, and exploring targeted options for students who need extra support. Walk away with fresh tools and insights to enhance your reading instruction.

    Cost: $50

•     Checks or cash should be sent to Ottawa Area ISD, 13565 Port Sheldon St., Holland, MI 49424. Please reference registration number and course name

•     If payment is not received at the conclusion of the training, your district will be invoiced

•     There is no cost for SCECHs or Social Work CEU’s

•     There is no charge for cancelations processed through Wisdomwhere prior to 7 days before the training date

•     If you are an OAISD employee, please select "OAISD Internal Transfer" in the Payment Type dropdown. Please do not use your p-card for payment.
