    Nonviolent Crisis Intervention is a full day training to teach verbal de-escalation strategies and physical interventions for the emergency use of physical restraint.  As part of the two day training, participants will receive instruction in Seclusion and Restraint Training for Key Identified Personnel as directed by the Michigan Department of Education and fulfills the requirement of MCL 380.1307.  

    This training is available to employees of the OAISD and local school districts.  Attendees must be part of the Key Identified Personnel team within their school building.

    Districts will be invoiced $35 for the manual. 

    Cost: $20 for training, includes Lunch 

    SCECH's and CEU's will be available pending state approval

•     Checks or cash should be sent to Ottawa Area ISD, 13565 Port Sheldon St., Holland, MI 49424. Please reference registration number and course name

•     If payment is not received at the conclusion of the training, your district will be invoiced

•     There is no cost for SCECHs or Social Work CEU’s

•     There is no charge for cancellations processed through Wisdomwhere prior to 7 days before the training date

•     If you are an OAISD employee, please select "OAISD Internal Transfer" in the Payment Type dropdown. Please do not use your p-card for payment.
