Michigan Dyslexia Handbook: Transforming Policy into High-Impact Classroom Practice

This course is designed to help Michigan educators better understand the requirements of PA 146 and the key components of the Michigan Dyslexia Handbook. Participants will build knowledge of dyslexia, explore instructional practices that support all learners, and examine the systems schools need in place to identify and support students early — before they experience significant reading difficulties.

This summer learning course, hosted in Canvas, is designed for building leadership teams, individual teachers, grade-level teams, or entire staff who are seeking to deepen their understanding of Michigan’s dyslexia law (PA 146) and the Michigan Dyslexia Handbook.

Participants will complete approximately six hours of self-paced learning. Further course information will be provided through email by the course instructor after registration.
