Scribbles to Script: The Penmanship Project 2026-27

August 26, 2026 at Blue Spruce Park

      AND

January 25, 2027 at the Outdoor Discovery Center

    8:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Cursive writing is making a comeback in Pennsylvania, offering teachers a valuable opportunity to help students build both skill and confidence. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, students can grow from simple scribbles to polished script while strengthening fine motor skills and developing their own writing style. Emphasizing cursive not only supports creativity and communication, but also encourages students to slow down, be intentional, and take pride in how their words come to life on the page.

Following this two-day training, participants will understand the value of cursive instruction and implement engaging, research-based strategies that help students develop legible handwriting, strengthen fine motor skills, and build confidence in written communication.

Registration is $100 for both days. Ten (10) Act 48 hours will be awarded following completion the event.
