    Science Liaison Network 2025-26

Our Science Network connects educators across Indiana and Armstrong counties for collaborative learning and sharing. Participants will explore the PA STEELS standards, dive into 3-dimensional teaching & learning, phenomena-based instruction, and uncover practical classroom resources. Sessions focus on sharing strategies that work, learning from facilitators and colleagues, and giving you tools you can use right away. You’ll also have dedicated time to plan with fellow STEELS educators, fostering meaningful connections and support throughout the school year. Five Act 48 hours will be awarded following each session.

    2025-26 Sessions offered from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM:

    • October 8, 2025 at Armstrong County Conservation District
    • January 14, 2026 at Armstrong County Conservation District
    • March 17, 2026 at ARIN Central Office
    • May 6, 2026 at ARIN Central Office

Before registering online, the participant is responsible for obtaining administrative approval for attendance as directed by his/her district.

All public school district and intermediate unit employees are free to attend. Please note: separate registration is required for each session attended.

Other agency and education entity employees will pay $75/session for the 2025-26 school year.

Please register by one week prior to the start of the activity to avoid a $10 late registration fee.

If the activity involves more than one day, unless otherwise indicated, participants must attend all activity dates; neither Act 48 hours nor workshop fees will be pro-rated. Participants must also attend the full activity in order to receive Act 48 hours – hours are not prorated for late arrivals/early exits. Activities begin promptly at the start time indicated; participants must sign in by the start time and must sign out at the end of the activity to earn the Act 48 hours offered.

Note: Registration is a commitment for payment unless cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the activity.

Payment Instructions

Districts will be invoiced following the activity. Individuals not affiliated with a district should bring payment with them on the day of the workshop (either a check made out to “ARIN IU 28” or cash in the exact amount) – upon arrival, stop at the front desk to make your payment and receive a receipt.
