    TDA Level II 2025-26

    December 17, 2025 from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM - Five Act 48 hours

    ARIN Central Office

This will be an ongoing training to help build your TDA knowledge and skills for ELA instruction in grades 3-8. The trainings are designed to allow learners to add to their skills during each session, or for participants to join in at any time to meet their learning needs based on their current knowledge level. TDA Level II  is designed to fortify educators' understanding of TDAs as an instructional tool and goes beyond the surface to explore the profound purpose they serve in enhancing student learning. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, participants will revisit foundational concepts from day one, including the art of deconstructing prompts and understanding ELA standards.  Central to our exploration is the pivotal role of close reading strategy as a bridge between reading comprehension and the analysis inherent in TDAs. Take a deeper dive into the mechanics of close reading, unraveling its significance in unlocking the underlying components of TDAs. This session is free for participants from ARIN's member districts.
