ARIN is offering an opportunity for local administrators to earn Act 45 credit throughout the 2025-26 school year. AI for Admin will help principals and district leaders be better equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate AI in their schools, fostering an environment that leverages technology to enhance student learning and achievement while maintaining a strong focus on ethical considerations and equity. Understanding and application of AI and its role in education specifically to student growth and achievement will be measured through assignments leading up to a culminating project relevant to their current work.
Course Big Ideas:
- Recognize ways to use Artificial Intelligence in everyday work as a district leader.
- Enhance knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools and how they work.
- Use new Artificial Intelligence tools to build efficiency.
- Identify implications of Artificial Intelligence in education and policies that can protect students and educators.
- Develop preliminary ideas and goals for the Artificial Intelligence movement into the future.
- Consider how Artificial Intelligence fits into the current standards and what future standards would best support student learning and engagement.
Participants must be current district leaders and be active in the in-person sessions to earn the total 30 hours of Act 45 credits. There is a $300/person registration fee.
In-person sessions will meet from 8:30AM - 11:30 AM at the ARIN Central Office on the following dates:
- August 6, 2025
- October 3, 2025
- November 5, 2025
- February 12, 2026
- April 15, 2026 - This session will be held virtually.
