The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training program is based on the philosophy of providing the best care, welfare, safety, and security for both students and staff, even during the most violent moments. The program focuses on preventing disruptive behavior by communicating with students respectfully and with concern for their well-being. There is a concentration of verbal de-escalation. Participants will also learn personal safety techniques.
