Michigan Model for Health 7-12

Michigan Model is an evidence-based prevention and social-emotional learning curriculum. It addresses the major health risk behaviors identified by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The secondary curriculum covers the following six main health topics with age-appropriate content: social-emotional health, substance use prevention, safety, nutrition, physical activity, and personal health and wellness. This workshop is geared towards 7th-12th grade health or physical educators covering the Michigan Model for Health Units for those grade levels.

The agenda and zoom link will be provided to participants one week prior to the session.

Five (5) SCECHs will be available for those who complete the entire session.
