Essential Instructional Practices-4th & 5th Grades
The Michigan Department of Education, MAISA, and GELN Early Literacy Task Force are excited to offer virtual professional learning for content leaders around the Essential Instructional Practices, Grades 4-5 in Literacy on February 8th, 2019. This day will offer deeper learning around the Essential Instructional Practices in Literacy, Grades 4-5 with the lead researchers of the document. The training is for ISD staff, instructional coaches, district lead teachers, special education directors, English Learner practitioners and leaders, building administrators, curriculum directors, and superintendents if it supports the work in your region. Teams will be provided the content and resources needed to lead literacy work and professional learning around the Instructional Essentials, Grades 4-5 in their regions. The Essential Instructional Practices in Literacy, Grades 4-5 can be found at literacyessentials.org.
