NVCI Recertification 2022-2023

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) - is to assist staff in the safe management of disruptive and assaultive students.  Verbal de-escalation is a very important portion of the training. Please wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes or closed heel/toe shoes.


Syllabus
Participants will learn de-escalation techniques to handle students in a crisis situation.
Target Audience
Any school staff that may come into contact with a student in crisis.
Learner Outcomes
To learn de-escalation techniques and proper techniques to restrain students in crisis.
