Doodle for Your Noodle (Sketchnoting) August 2025

- Dive into the transformative world of sketchnoting [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fx0QcHyrFk] with our immersive full-day session designed specifically for educators. This innovative teaching and learning tool offers a unique approach to note-taking, transforming it into a meaningful and visually engaging experience for learners.

- As sketchnoting expert Mike Rhode describes, sketchnotes are a blend of handwriting, drawings, hand-drawn typography, shapes, and visual elements like arrows, boxes, and lines. By harnessing the power of the visual world to interpret the verbal one, sketchnoting becomes an incredibly potent tool, enhancing information retention significantly more than traditional methods. In this comprehensive session, you’ll not only master the basics of sketchnoting but also explore its practical applications, connecting content and theory. You’ll leave equipped with a strategic plan for implementing sketchnoting in your practice.

- We provide each participant with a variety of essential materials to support their learning journey, ensuring an equitable learning opportunity that caters to individual needs through voice and choice. Plus, you’ll receive a helpful book to guide you in implementing sketchnoting.

- Engage in purpose-driven doodling or sketchnoting and discover how it can boost information retention. All the materials provided can be seamlessly integrated into classroom use, both during and after the course.

- We invite you to join us and transform your teaching and learning experience with the power of sketchnoting!
