This virtual learning opportunity will build capacity with the Essential Instructional Practices for Early Mathematics. During the three-part series, there will be activities to dig deeper into each of the values and practices.  In each two-hour session, breakout rooms will offer time to engage with your district team to process and create a plan with this work. The intention of our time is to dig deeper into our journey engaging with the Essential Instructional Practices for Early Mathematics.  This series audience is targeted towards PK-3 teachers, instructional coaches, building/district leaders, and regional mathematics support personnel.

  1. 11/3/21 from 4-6pm - Overall Design of Learning Environments and Family Connections (Essentials 1-3 and 8)

  2.  1/10/22 from 4-6pm - Formative Assessment (Essential 4)

  3.  4/14/22 from 4-6pm - Mathematical Tasks and Instructional Routines to Support Deep, Meaningful Learning (Essentials 5-7)

WHO:  We recommend that a team of instructional coaches, interventionists, teacher leaders, and administrators attend together.

  • Breakout room activities would be processing with their school team
