Safe Crisis Management Recertification Training
|
This is a 2 DAY IN PERSON Training The safe management of an exploding young person may well be the most demanding professional challenge faced by teachers and staff. Success in these situations requires a set of knowledge and physical skill. This two-day training provides a practical, legal and most importantly, a professional response to a most difficult problem - student explosive behavior. This training is a student-safe intervention model that operates from the principle of the "least restrictive alternative." In this model, physical intervention is seen as a last resort choice. Emphasis is on verbal/non-verbal interventions.
