OAISD Literacy Network 2019-2020

December 3, 2019 - 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
February 4, 2020–4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
April 14, 2020–4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The purpose of this group is to inspire and support literacy leaders across our area. In collaboration with ISD staff, teachers will have the opportunity to grow their expertise and investigate current literacy best practices.

Teachers will also have the opportunity to work in grade level bands to grow their understanding in instructional practices appropriate for their teaching assignment. Optional learning labs will be included.

Audience: K-12 General and Special Education Teachers

The K-3 teachers in this group will have in-depth learning around the GELN Essential Practices. These sessions meet the 3rd grade reading bill requirement.

Cost: $100 to go towards meals for the sessions, books and learning lab subs. Note: Participants will be responsible for attending all sessions and covering sub cost for the optional May date.

SCECHs may be available pending State approval.
