Minding the Gap: How do I Manage my Students' Math Gaps?

Are you concerned about your students' potential gaps in math?  This workshop will focus on how do you prioritize those current standards while also support students in filling in the gaps.  We will examine how to best create a scope and sequence and lesson designs to address their needs.  We will examine specific instructional strategies and best support minding the gap.

Workshop Agenda

  • Examine how to prioritize essential grade level standards while also filling the gaps for students

  • Explore and design lessons to support both current and gap standards

  • Investigate best practice strategies for gap filling in the math classroom
