How Does Guided Math Work?

This professional development workshop enables teachers to transition to a highly successful, innovative way to make the most use of your mathematics block. With multiple structured formats to meet the timing of any math block, the teacher develops methods for continual learning, limiting behavior challenges, and immediate feedback to each learner.

Why Does Guided Math Work?

Guided Math is a stations approach format to teaching with the teacher meeting daily with students. Teachers who already use Daily 5, CAFE, or Fountas & Pinnell methods in their reading block, find the transition to Guided Math very easy for all students in their classroom. Students have small group instruction to think through critical processing skills and have guided practice with the teacher. Students work through stations to reinforce skills.
