High Quality Instruction in Algebra 1
|
|
The High Quality Instruction in Algebra 1 workshop series seeks to provide Algebra teachers with engaging strategies and tasks for immediate use in the classroom. The HQI series not only continues our traditional Math Academy approach of integrating the Standards of Mathematical Practice within your classroom instruction, but also is taking into account the unique barriers still present in our classrooms since the pandemic. Participants will gain new strategies for increasing student engagement through classroom discussions, high quality tasks, and “problems of practice” sessions driven by participant voice. Two full days of collaborating and learning will be reinforced by three afternoon sessions of optional PLC style discussions
