Youth Mental Health Committee takes on BULLYING
|
The EUPISD Youth Mental Health Committee is tackling the subject of Bullying! Bullying is not just a schoolyard problem, it is a public health crisis with far-reaching consequences that extend beyond the classroom. When bullying behavior goes unchecked, it sets off a chain reaction that impacts students, schools, families, and entire communities. Research shows that bullying is linked to higher dropout rates, substance abuse, domestic violence, incarceration, and even suicide. Victims and perpetrators alike often carry the scars of these experiences into adulthood, perpetuating cycles of violence and trauma. The cost is staggering not only in human lives but in strained community resources, overwhelmed mental health systems, and diminished educational outcomes. Come join us to learn everything you need to know about Bullying and how to respond to it and prevent it.
