Event Details

The format for the Gifted Network meeting consists of updates, possible special guest presentations, and announcements from the PA Department of Education. We then have open-space discussions about topics that are of interest to the group. If we have a large enough attendance, we can break into subject area spaces.

Act 48:  2 hours will be awarded

Teachers of gifted students will

• Write compliant GIEPs with a focus on goal writing

• Support their students through STEM initiatives

• Differentiate between enrichment and acceleration

• Apply differentiation strategies to support general education curriculum

• Identify under-identified groups of students to support equitable education.
