Join PDE’s Career Ready PA Region 6 liaison as she provides the PDE training on the newly revised Career Education and Work standards and how to integrate and transition from the current standards with best practices, application, resources, and instructional strategies across content areas.  Work ahead of the timeline through an innovative approach to artifacts and student engagement to support career portfolios and the Career Standards benchmark in the Future Ready PA Index.

At this 60-minute training, participants will:

• Identify the current Career Education and Work (CEW) Standards
•  Compare CEW Standards Revised to the current CEW Standards
• Compare CEW Structure and Alignment
• Review Future Ready PA Index/Career Standards Benchmark
• Apply a Crosswalk Between Current and Revised CEW Standards
• Practice Examples of applying the newly revised standards to current standards
• Align Employability Skills and PA Career Ready Skills
• Identify the alignment to CEW in the Remake Learning Days and Career Ready PA Backpack Challenge
