CSIU is committed to fostering a culture where every employee feels seen, valued, and connected to our shared mission. During this special professional learning day, staff will work with Susan Jordan of the Susquehanna Valley Mediation to explore the practice of Story Circles — a structured, powerful dialogue process that builds trust, empathy, and understanding.
Participants will reflect on their personal and professional identities, examine how their values connect to the CSIU Way, and engage in guided Story Circles that deepen belonging across roles and departments. Staff will leave not only with practical skills to facilitate Story Circles in their own teams and programs, but also with a renewed understanding of how their individual contributions strengthen the whole organization.
This experience also connects to the mental well-being of our ambassadors. When people feel heard, valued, and connected to purpose, resilience grows. By investing in belonging, we invest in the sustainability, wellness, and impact of our entire CSIU community.
This learning experience will also be offered during PLD to ensure all ambassadors have the opportunity to participate.
