Making the Connection: Frogstreet, TS GOLD, and Louisiana Standards

This two-hour professional development session is designed to help early childhood educators intentionally connect the Frog Street curriculum with Teaching Strategies GOLD® assessment practices and the Louisiana Birth to Five Early Learning and Development Standards. Participants will explore how daily Frog Street activities support specific Louisiana standards and Teaching Strategies GOLD® objectives, learn strategies for collecting meaningful documentation during instruction and play, and strengthen their ability to use assessment data to guide planning. Through hands-on activities and real classroom examples, educators will leave with practical tools for aligning curriculum, assessment, and standards to support children's growth and school readiness.
