Bloomin' Learning Targets - If learning targets are just statements written on your board or a checkbox for the day, this session is for you!  If you want to learn more about how to engage students in the learning process to take ownership, this session is for you! Participants will explore the purpose and impact of effective learning targets and how they support intentional, student-centered instruction. Teachers will examine the characteristics of clear, student-friendly learning targets, connect targets to standards and evidence of learning, and use Bloom’s Taxonomy to develop targets that promote appropriate levels of rigor. Participants will apply these strategies to create or refine learning targets for upcoming instruction.
