Expectations of Practice and Daily “Look-Fors” help describe what we aim to see in elementary math classrooms, but what does “good enough” really look like in practice? How do these expectations come to life during instruction and help calibrate excellence across the district?
This course explores the four Effective Math Practices in St. Vrain Valley Schools and supports participants in developing a shared vision of high-quality math instruction. Through ongoing
reflective practice, participants will analyze classroom videos from the Edthena library and contribute their own classroom recordings. Participants should expect to regularly record and upload videos of their teaching as part of the learning process.
