HU 2026: Conflict Resolution and Effective Communication Strategies for Faculty
This workshop based session will build on the basis skills learned during PD with Pat Peyton in February and March, 2026.  Faculty will work on communication skills needed to work effectively with parents and students, to encourage parental engagement and student self-advocacy.  The session will be scenario based, using examples provided by the school.  
Target Audience
Saint Hubert High School for Girls Faculty
Learner Outcomes

Participants will create an environment conducive for learning based on completion of this program.  The program will be using Adult Learning Theory, especially implementation immediately in the appropriation of communication strategy to engage, more effectively, parents and families.  Faculty will have the opportunity to strategize with each other and role play scenarios empower faculty in their communication.  Administration will that will also look for evidence of strategies in observations and follow-up sessions  and provide feedback with teachers.
