FJ 2026: Leveraging Digital Platforms to Support Diverse Learners

o   This professional development session is designed to support educators in maximizing the accessibility and effectiveness of the digital platforms already in use at Father Judge High School.  Participants will explore how embedded tools within commonly used instructional technologies can be leveraged to provide meaningful accommodations for students with diverse learning needs.

o   Through guided instruction and hands-on exploration, faculty will learn how to identify, implement, and customize features such as text-to-speech, speech-to-text, readability supports, annotation tools, and organizational scaffolds within their existing platforms. The sessions emphasize practical application, ensuring that teachers leave with strategies they can immediately integrate into their classrooms.

o   Time will be intentionally structured for educators to actively engage with these tools, experiment with features, and collaborate with colleagues to align digital accommodations with student needs and instructional goals.
