This professional development
program introduces educators to the effective and safe use of the school’s
Collaboration Stations and associated creative and fabrication tools.
Participants will receive hands-on training with available materials and equipment,
including Cricut machines, heat and mug presses, button makers, photo printers,
laser engravers, and a variety of art and design supplies. The session will
model instructional applications across content areas and emphasize classroom
integration aligned to curricular goals.
Educators will develop skills in
project-based learning, creative assessment design, and student collaboration,
as well as an understanding of safety protocols and appropriate supervision
when using specialized equipment. By integrating hands-on creation and design
into instruction, teachers will enhance student engagement, support diverse
learning styles, and provide students with authentic opportunities to
demonstrate understanding through creative and applied learning experiences.
