First year teachers will meet and learn together on topics including but not limited to:
- Essential Teaching Practices
- Routines and Expectations
- Engaging All Students
- Classroom Management
- Evaluation System
- Supporting Students with Disabilities in the General Education Setting
- One on One Coaching
- Classroom Learning Labs
Local Districts will be invoiced $125 per registrant and earned hours count toward the additional 90 hours needed in the first three years of teaching. This is a District Provided Professional Development (DPPD) series which can earn up to 12 SCECHs.
