Paraprofessional Bootcamp Level 1
The Paraprofessional Bootcamp Level 1 is a comprehensive training program designed to empower paraprofessionals across Michigan with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively support students in educational settings.
Participants will gain an understanding of key topics including MTSS and special education, the IEP process, roles and responsibilities, academic supports, and behavioral strategies. The course is intended for paraprofessionals working directly with children.
The program includes approximately five hours of on-demand virtual learning modules (must be completed prior to the in-person training date), followed by a six-hour in-person training session to deepen understanding and application of skills.
Three weeks prior to the in-person training you will receive an email from MAASE on how to access your online modules.
Participants who complete the program will receive a one-year CEC Paraprofessional membership along with digital and physical badging to recognize their learning.
