Restorative Practices - Day 3 ~April 29, 2026

April 29, 2026

8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Location: City on a Hill, 100 Pine St. Zeeland, MI 49464

Audience: District leaders, principals, administrators, counselors, coaches, consultants, ancillary staff and any support staff that manages misbehavior outside of the classroom

Learn to use Restorative Practices (RP) Conferencing and Responsive Circles for administrator managed/office managed behaviors through an interactive 1-day training. This training builds on the foundations from RP Days 1 and 2. The more formal practices help to repair relationships among all stakeholders, which are essential for teaching and learning. Participants will learn how to enhance their reintegration process; understand how to facilitate formal conferences for major events; explore alternatives to exclusionary discipline; and develop an implementation plan.

This is a team based professional development. Please attend with at least two team members to make the most of time given for planning conversations.

In an effort to save paper, please bring a laptop or tablet to this training to view presentation materials. If you would like to borrow a Chromebook, please contact Mandy Laninga at mlaninga@oaisd.org.

Cost: Free

Lunch is provided

SCECHs and Social Work CEU's will be available pending state approval

If you have questions, please contact Emily Kienke at ekienke@oaisd.org

This is a Project AWARE sponsored event
