Cognitive Coaching fosters self-directed individuals with the cognitive capacity to thrive both independently and within a community. Grounded in research, this model recognizes education as a complex intellectual process, where educators who engage in higher-order thinking cultivate students who achieve more, collaborate effectively, and excel as problem-solvers.
At its core, Cognitive Coaching enhances the invisible skills of education—the deep thinking processes behind instructional decisions that drive learning outcomes. This research-backed framework strengthens educators' cognitive abilities, improving both teaching and student success.
In the eight-day Cognitive Coaching Seminars, participants develop essential skills for fostering reflective practice, professional growth, and instructional excellence.

Participants must attend all eight sessions in the series. In-person attendance is required. If you are unable to attend a session offered at this location, you will need to attend the same session at another location.

Cost: $130.00 for OAISD Schools (Learning guide and lunches) and $500 for non-OAISD schools

SCECHs will be available pending state approval

If you have questions, please contact Sara TePastte at stepastt@oaisd.org or Jen Pike at jpike@oaisd.org
