Promoting STEM Through Literature (PSTL)

Participants in this event learn to use STEM and Literature resources with students in a face to face environment and how to implement Design Thinking through literature using STEM Principles.

- Each of the titles selected for the project shares a story where something was built or invented by designing, planning, gathering materials, and creating.

- In addition to strengthening literacy skills, your learners will develop inquiry and problem-solving skills.

- Learners will also see that with perseverance, anyone can be innovative and invent new things.

- Participants will read a selected title and engage in hands on activities in small groups representing the story using Design Thinking Elements and STEM Principles. 21st Century Skills will be included.
