Pocket PD: Top-Tier Engagement Strategies 2026-27

In this online professional learning opportunity, educators will have the chance to dive deeper into 21 top-tier engagement strategies. After listening to an audio overview of the strategy, course participants will reflect on their learning and, if so moved, design a way to utilize and implement each strategy. Based on Weston Kieschnick’s series, Pocket PD, participants will leave with a more thorough understanding of highly effective engagement strategies and ideas to implement immediately. Participants can earn up to 21 SCECHs.  Due to limited capacity, this offering is available to participants within the Char-Em ISD service area ONLY.

This is an online, self-paced course. Course information will be sent through email by the course instructor after registration. (This is a repeat course from 2025-26. SCECHs will not be awarded for attending a course you have already completed.)
