Audience: Secondary math teachers, coaches that support math teachers, special educators who support secondary math students and Administrators

In the morning session, participants will learn about and explore the online Desmos graphing calculator (which will be embedded in the digital PSAT and SAT). Participants will also explore the interactive activities that are available through the Desmos platform to foster student engagement and collaboration. Participants will also investigate a couple of the newest Desmos teaching tools: the new geometry and 3D calculators.
In the afternoon session, participants will learn strategies to improve the depth of student thinking, ways to create and use Computation Layer to add engagement to their classroom activities, and receive classroom-tested lessons and tips to reach students' different levels of understanding.
Participants can register for the morning session, afternoon session or both.
