Join us for a day-long deep dive into the REMC Classroom Maker Project and the Maker philosophy. Participants will experience all of the components of the Maker Kit, and explore the curricular connections and opportunities made possible by using each tool. 6 SCECH credits available for completion of each training.

Description

Making For A Purpose!  Centered around the topic of accessibility and assistive technology devices. Taking the Maker Movement to the next level by creating user-specific adaptations. During the training you will learn about adapting or creating customizable maker ideas/devices such as: Switches, Therapy Techniques, Independent Classrooms and much more. Make and adapt to change the lives of individuals who deserve it. Some of the devices we will be using are 3D printers, Makey Makey, Scratch, etc. When everyone plays we all win.
