SIOP Training I (K-6) - WA-005-2007
Waiting list count: 0
Session: 7760
The Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) is a research-based teaching method used to improve students’ academic learning. Through its eight components of detailed guidance, SIOP explicitly states the best practices necessary for academic success. NOTE: Participants will be expected to go back to their classrooms, employ an aspect of SIOP, and return to share their experiences with other participants each week. This course is open to K-6 teachers with ELL´s in their classrooms. Inservice credit is only available if this course is taken during non-contract hours.
