Session: 7686 ***BY INVITATION ONLY*** Any questions please contact: Edith Gaw or Kris Gingras*** The class covers the works of researchers and educators across the disciplines: brain research and brain compatible teaching, primary language and second language acquisition involving thinking, speaking, reading & writing, as well as research on cross-cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity. The research will be tied directly into specific classroom strategies that allow for differentiation to meet individual student needs and ensures that the teacher covers the Nevada State Standards. Inservice credit is only available if this course is taken during non-contract hours. |
