This seminar is designed for novice teachers participating in the Mentor Program and will be held over the course of the school year at dates and times determined by the school’s site facilitator for a total of 15 hours. The Novice On-Site Seminars provide a support system for novice teachers in their 1st , 2nd, and 3rd year of teaching. Topics addressed will include: grading/homework policies; time/stress management; parent conferencing; inclusion strategies; preventive discipline; standards implementation; and instructional strategies. See your Site Facilitator for locations and times. Because this course is part of the New Teacher Academy, there is no inservice fee.
