Dealing with Difficult Student Behaviors - Elementary - WA-22-2003

This course is a follow-up to Elementary Classroom Management. Topics to be addressed are: Understanding your students and your expectations for them; developing strategies and options for handling negative behavior; knowing how learning styles impact student behavior; using positive reinforcement; pursuing win-win solutions; working with parents; knowing when to remove a student and understanding your circle of control. Inservice credit is only available if this course is taken during non-contract hours.
