           Activboard Basic Training 2009-2010 [A]
This course is open to anyone with access to Activboard/ActivStudio software. This course instructs teachers how to utilize the Activboard (interactive whiteboard) and ActivInspire (software) in their classroom. Through a hands-on approach, teachers will be able to create flipcharts and use a variety of tools available to integrate technology in many curriculum areas. Teachers are required to integrate flipcharts into their existing curriculum at the end of the training. Inservice credit is only available if this course is taken during non-contract hours.
           ActivInspire for the ActivStudio Pro [A]
Prerequisite: ActivInspire Basic Training or ActivStudio Basic Training. This course instructs teachers how to utilize ActivInspire (software) with their Activboard in their classroom. This course is designed to help existing Activboard users (with experience using ActivStudio) transfer their knowledge to the new software (ActivInspire)., Through a hands-on approach, teachers learn how to create/convert flipchart lessons and the technology tools available to integrate technology in many curriculum areas. Teachers are given time to build lessons and interact with the new software so that they are able to integrate prepared flipcharts into their existing curriculum at the end of the training. Inservice credit is only available if this course is taken during non-contract hours.
           Business Plus - Approvals
This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access and has Approval Authority. This session focuses on Approving Purchase Requests or Stores Inventory Orders through Workflow tasks on the Dashboard.
           Business Plus - Approvals/Principals & Dept. Supervisors
This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access and has Approval Authority. This session focuses on Approving Purchase Requests or Stores Inventory Orders through Workflow tasks on the Dashboard. This session is intended for Principals or Department Supervisors that may have limited need to access the system, but are asked to approve orders.
           Business Plus - Budget Reports
This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access. This session focuses on running CDD reports for budgets identified as DW3000, DW3000A, DW3000B and DW3001. The session will cover last year as well as current year reports.
           Business Plus - Custodial or Annex Orders
This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access but is intended for Custodians or SFC´s. This session focuses on entering Custodial or Annex Stores Inventory Orders (Create/Update Orders) from entry to approval. Also how to run DW4000 Order Item information report.
           Business Plus - General Knowledge [A]
This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access. This is a general knowledge session and covers: 1) Purchase Requests and how to look up vendors, 2) Stores Inventory Orders, 3) Budget Reports and CDD reports in general and 4) Approvals.
           Business Plus - General Overview
Business Plus - General Basic Knowledge. This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access AND is located at Edison Way. This will be a general knowledge session including inputting purchase requests, running reports, approving orders and question and answer time.
           Business Plus - Library Staff
This class is intended for Library Staff. This session focuses on entering Purchase Requests and warehouse orders, if needed. Attendees will also learn how to print their orders using CDD reports.
           Business Plus - Purchase Requests/Vendor Lookup
This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access. This session focuses on entering Purchase Requests and how to look up vendors.
           Business Plus - Reports/Wildcards
This class is open to anyone with Business Plus (Bi-Tech/IFAS) software access. This session focuses on running CDD reports. The use of wildcards (*) and how to run District Wide Reports identified as DWxxxx on the Dashboard.
           ETS ACTIVboard Basic Training [A]

           IC Attendance Elementary
Audience: Elementary building staff who manage student attendance.

Description: Attendees of this course will learn the monitoring and processing of student attendance, running of applicable reports and setting up/printing attendance letters. This hands-on course uses common scenarios for attendees to practice their skills. It is required that attendees take the prerequisite, self-paced courses.

           IC Attendance Secondary
Audience: Secondary building staff who manage student attendance.

Description: Attendees of this course will learn the monitoring and processing of student attendance, running of applicable reports and setting up/printing attendance letters.            IC Campus 101 [A]
This course is a prerequisite to all other Infinite Campus Classes. Those who have not previously taken Infinite Campus Class must take this class.

This introductory course will cover accessing the Campus application, searching for students, navigating the application, and an overview of the student information general set of data.

           IC Census Creation [A]
Audience: District/Building Staff responsible for Census data.

Description: The Census module provides entry point for all people who will be entered into the Campus database – school staff, parents, students and emergency contacts. The individual is entered once in the database and that record reused and changed as needed. This hands-on course uses common scenarios for attendees to practice their skills. Anyone entering in Census Data who was not a building coach is required to attend and take the prerequisite, self-paced courses. Each attendee should have a computer for their use.

           IC Data Review by Vertical Alignment [A]
Audience: District Level Staff who compiled files for the first conversion and a Campus Trainer.

Description: This review is a high level or baseline of converted data from the legacy system. We will touch key areas of the application to get a better understanding of files being converted. A review of inputting conversion issues into the Customer Portal is also covered.

           IC ES Building Coach (Site System Administator) [A]
Audience: One or two people from each building to learn and support the office staff in the use of campus.

Description: This course will cover all building level functionality of Campus including how to navigate and use each module that both the elementary and secondary schools will regularly use. The building Coaches are responsible for assisting all other building staff during the Scenario Based Training and on a day to day basis after go live. Topics include: Navigation, Search, Help, Registration, Courses and Sections, Walk-in Scheduler, Discipline, Health, and much more.

This course will NOT include the instruction or special education module, as this information is covered in Teacher Coach and Special Education respectively.

           IC Teacher Coach
Audience: Teachers who have an understanding of an electronic gradebook and proficient use of computers. These coaches will train all the teachers in a particular building.

Description: This training follows the “train the trainer” model. Teacher Coach Training covers all areas of the instruction module from attendance, viewing their roster, setting up their preferences and lesson planner to using the gradebook based on their lesson planner setup.

           PLATO Pathways Instructional Management [A]
This workshop will introduce participants to the PLATO Learning System. Participants will gain an understanding of the PLATO Pathways curriculum structure and will have an opportunity to review PLATO courseware. Participants will learn how to manage instruction and learners with the Windows-Based Pathways Instructional Management system and begin using the 4 components of PLATO Pathways; User Management, Class Management and Learning Resource Management. The PLATO Credit Recovery Course Models developed by the WCSD will be introduced.
           PLATO Pathways Instructional Management -2009(PLATO 101 & 102)
This workshop will introduce participants to the PLATO Learning System.            SASI Attendance by Period for MS/HS
Prerequisite: SASIxp Basic Applications
           SASI Basic Application [A]
This course is a prerequisite to all other SASIxp classes. Those who have not previously taken SASIxp Basic Applications must take this class.

This class gives a basic overview of SASIxp, how to navigate through the program, and how to make the program easier to use.

Passing score required for certificate and enrollment in higher-level classes.

           SASI Classroom Maintaining, Supporting and Troubleshooting [A]
Prerequisite: SASIxp Basic Applications

This course provides an overview of CLASSxp for SASI Site Coordinators and office staff. It also provides training on maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting CLASSxp.

           SASI Enrollment [A]
Prerequisite: Basic Applications

This course shows how to enroll a student into your school using District Integration. It describes how to use all the atoms that are required to record significant student information such as demographic data.

           SASI Program Maintenance [A]
Prerequisite: SASIxp Basic Applications

This course provides Site Coordinators with instructions for maintaining the SASIxp and CLASSxp programs.

           SASI Query - Advanced
Prerequisite: SASIxp Basic Apps, SASIxp Beginning Query, SASIxp Intermediate Query

This course expands on the concepts introduced in SASIxp Basic and Intermediate Query.

Passing score required for certificate and enrollment in higher-level classes.

           SASI Query - Beginning
Prerequisite: Basic Applications

This course provides an overview of the Query atom. Instruction is given in the functions of Query, including displaying a matrix, creating a filter, printing a report and printing labels.

Passing score required for certificate and enrollment in higher-level classes.

           SASI Query - Intermediate
Prerequisite: SASIxp Beginning Query, SASIxp Basic Applications

This course expands on the concepts introduced in SASIxp Query. It will also introduce using the Query atom to create drag and drop query atoms, sorting and filtering.

Passing score required for certificate and enrollment in higher-level classes.

           SASI Workshop Attendance Letter Merge [A]
With our workday full to overflowing time to get away to training is premium. Take “An HOUR of QUALITY time” with the SASIxp trainer. Classes scheduled early for the “before school” crowd, near lunch for the “I’ll work through lunch” crowd, or late in the day for those that “don’t mind working late.” Employees responsible for Attendance Letters LEARN/REFRESH the skill concerning the MERGE of data to a document. SASIxp Trainer will work through the process with you. Upon completion receive a "Certificate of Attendance".
           SASI Workshop Matrix Searches [A]
With our workday full to overflowing time to get away to training is premium. Take “An HOUR of QUALITY time” with the SASIxp trainer. Classes scheduled early for the “before school” crowd, near lunch for the “I’ll work through lunch” crowd, or late in the day for those that “don’t mind working late.” Employees L@@KING for a short cut LEARN/REFRESH the Matrix Search skill. SASIxp Trainer will work through the process with you. Upon completion receive a "Certificate of Attendance".
           SASI Workshop Toolbars [A]
With our workday full to overflowing time to get away to training is premium. Take “An HOUR of QUALITY time” with the SASIxp trainer. Classes scheduled early for the “before school” crowd, near lunch for the “I’ll work through lunch” crowd, or late in the day for those that “don’t mind working late.” What is your specific job? Employees using SASI learn how to build the toolbar that will apply to daily tasks. Also learn moving atoms within the toolbar or changing the toolbar. Upon completion receive a “Certificate of Attendance”.
           SASI Workshop Use of the Parent/Guardian Atom [A]
With our workday full to overflowing time to get away to training is premium. Take “An HOUR of QUALITY time” with the SASIxp trainer. Classes scheduled early for the “before school” crowd, near lunch for the “I’ll work through lunch” crowd, or late in the day for those that “don’t mind working late.” Employees responsible for Adding Parents, Step Parents, Foster Parents, or Guardians to the SASIxp program come and learn the policy and procedure OR common practice for use of this atom. Upon completion receive a “Certificate of Attendance”.
           SASI Workshop Use of the Sibling Atom [A]
With our workday full to overflowing time to get away to training is premium. Take “An HOUR of QUALITY time” with the SASIxp trainer. Classes scheduled early for the “before school” crowd, near lunch for the “I’ll work through lunch” crowd, or late in the day for those that “don’t mind working late.” Employees responsible for Enrollment learn to enroll students from the same family with the Sibling Atom. Upon completion receive a “Certificate of Attendance”.
